Nationally Recognized Parenting Workshops Offered Twice Per Year

Our nationally recognized Parenting Workshop Program, from the Character Education Partnership in Washington, D.C. has concluded this year and will continue again next year for new and returning families to Ho`ala School.   Master Retired Teacher, Jef Fern facilitates.

Dates for the 2021-2022 School Year have been announced to our parents only.

Based on the Ho`ala Philosophy of Education, these workshops will help parents and new teachers to consider ways of structuting their homes and classrooms to support mutual respect, cooperation and effective action.

These classes are held semi-annually and are required for new families and teachers, but current parents also find value in returning for repeat sessions; a "refresher course" which strengthens their understanding and practice of the Ho`ala philosophy.  The public is welcomed and this course is free of charge. Child care is available for donations.  (Not available this year due to COVID restrictions) Classes begin at 6:30pm.

Please call the office at (808) 621-1898 to reserve your space.
